What it covers

Contents of a letter

Your letter may include a name, an email address, an optional phone number, and the question. Identity-document numbers and payment-card details should stay out of the letter. Do not send a password.

Nothing collected by the page

The bench does not create accounts. Contact is mail, not a server form. The pages set neither an advertising cookie nor an analytics cookie, and they do not load an advertising or analytics kit.

Ordinary host logs

The host of the files may log an ordinary request: IP address, browser type, date, and the path opened. Those logs are not used to profile anyone for ads.

Video Caption Card on the phone

Version 1.0.0 stores project names, plate text, cue times, and settings on the device. There is no account and no cloud sync. ALASiosAe INC does not receive those mixes through the application. The data is used only to run the cue bench on that phone.

A clip is selected with the system photo and video picker. The app does not request broad gallery access. The original video stays in your library unless you export a new file to a folder you choose.

The app does not record speech and does not transcribe audio. Words on a card are typed by you.

Export writes a file only when you pick a folder. A backup writes a JSON file of names, plates, and cue times. Clips are not copied into that file. If the picker is closed, or storage refuses the file, the mix on the phone is unchanged.

Reminders stay off until you turn them on. You can refuse the system prompt and still pick clips, park plates, and export.

Version 1.0.0 does not show ads, does not sell items inside the app, and does not ask you to sign in. Sixteen plates ship on the phone. Nothing unlocks with a purchase.

Purpose

A letter is used to answer the ray or diameter question, to answer a Video Caption Card support question, to verify a fact already printed, and to keep the correspondence that answer depends on.

Keeping and deleting

Mail is kept until the question no longer needs a reply on file. You can write from the same address and ask that the remaining copy be deleted. Backup copies and copies held because a law requires it are removed when that hold ends.

Mixes stay on the phone until you delete a mix, clear every mix, or uninstall the application. Deleting a mix removes its plates and cue times from the phone. Clearing every mix also removes the undo stack. Exported video files already written to a folder you chose stay there. If you clear the mixes or uninstall without a backup, those plates cannot be recovered from ALASiosAe INC.

Not sold

Information from letters is not sold. The website host and the email host process what their service needs. Disclosure that a law requires is limited to what that law requires. Version 1.0.0 does not send plates, cue times, or clips to ALASiosAe INC, so those files are not shared with advertisers or an analytics provider. A file leaves the phone only when you export it, back it up, or share it yourself.

This bench and Video Caption Card are not for children under 13. Please do not send a child's personal information. The company does not knowingly collect it.

Write if you want access to, a correction of, or deletion of letter content still held. Confirmation that the writer is the original sender may be required first.

Updates

The date line changes whenever this notice is updated. If an advertising or analytics kit is added to the website later, that change is described here before it takes effect. A material change to Video Caption Card is also described on the product page.
